Encarnacion pushes the Jays to another win

Edwin Encarncion was a machine tonight, blasting 3 home-runs and drove in 9 runs for the Blue Jays as they dusted the Tigers 15-1.

We need to note that not only today, but as of late Edwin Encarncion has been on fire. 8 home-runs, 25 runs in the last 10 games, and is batting .392 in the month of August. BEAST.

The Blue Jays haven't been playing around lately, winning 8 or their last 9 games grabbing first in the American League East, 2 points above the rival New York Yankee's.  It wasn't necessarily a fun day for the Detroit Tigers today, starting off with Buck Farmar who allowed 6 runs in 4 innings. Then the back up pitchers came up, and well, didn't deliver either. Gudio Knudson was first, then Alex Wilson was up, who both allowed 3 runs.

Drew Hutchinson pitched at a very high level, allowing only 1 run and striking 7.

Will the Jays sweep the Tigers? Find out Sunday afternoon.
