Raptors $64M contract extension with Valanciunas


The Toronto Raptors and center Valanciunas have agreed on a contract four-year extension deal  worth $64 million. The contract takes effect in 2016 and the total deal could escalate to $70 million.

Last season, Valanciunas averaged 12 points and 8.7 rebounds in 26.2 minutes while shooting 57.2 percent from the field and 78.6 percent from the line. Those numbers were good for a shooting percentage of 62.3, with a PER of 20.3
