Why Russell Westbrook is the MVP front-runner

Everyone who knows something about the NBA knows Russell Westbrook is a beast, but did we expect this big of an outrage from him? He's definitely been riding with the astral planes and is the main talk of the NBA, saving the OKC team from having a disaster of a season, to a playoff spot in the West. He's been breaking records,  just by looking at his ridiculous stats you can tell he's been killing it, and has something to prove.

It's an understatement to say that he's been carrying the OKC team. It's a whole other level. Losing Kevin Durant to another injury, many thought it was over for the Thunder, but he's rekindled and gained tons reputation around the league for being potentially, the most valuable player this season. Westbrook decided to crown himself the KING of the league.

Take a look at all of his stats since February 2nd.

Currently he's averaging an impressive 27.4 points a game, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

Russell Westbrook has already had seven forty point games, this season, and twelve thirty point games. Not only that. Nobody since Micheal Jordan in 1989 has had four straight triple doubles but this guy. Joining records with MJ is already one heck of an accomplishment.

Russell Westbrook has done everything for this team. As of right now, I don't think anybody can say he isn't the most valuable for a team. What hasn't he done? He's kept his team alive, he's dropped numbers consecutively that fans haven't seen in decades and is doing this with full rage. Of course we have to wait for the rest of the season to end, and other names such as Steph Curry, James Harden, LeBron James come to mind, but if Westbrook even keeps going half as hard as he has been and keeps winning games, hand it to him.
